An excellent book, that both myself and my students refer to regularly, would highly recommend this book.
An excellent text to inspire students to become lovers of reading and how to enthuse children to become readers too...
A perfect support to the Primary English ITE curriculum. This book would also support early career teachers and English subject leads in school.
Part 1 is relevant for our year 2/3 students as it discusses the importance of subject knowledge and the current education climate. Part 2 will be useful for subject specialist modules in regards to narrative viewpoint and story structure. Part 2 also has useful sections on features of different genres.
An informative book that gives different perspectives on children's literature.
This fourth edition is a key text for reading early years and primary teachers who continue to explore and gain a deeper insight of Children's Literature.
This is an excellent book for updating teacher knowledge about children's literature and how to support reading for pleasure. The sections on comics, graphic novels and picutre books are especially good.
