This is an excellent book to share with the students who are working within the classroom using social media sites with their pupils making them very aware of the considerations of using media within the school environment.
Was not helpful in convincing this group of students to adopt this trend
Not quite the fit I hoped to have. Biggest problem is the lack of examples for connections in education.
Useful for those getting to grips with the different types of social media and planning how they might use it in the educational context. I agree that it is not about tagging it on to the curriculum but rethinking the curriculum. Good to see attention to the dangers included.
Great ideas for innovative tools for teaching
This book is a really useful tool to refer to. Social Media is increasingly being used in schools and it is challenging to stay informed about issues. Useful video links and reflection points. The chapters are clear and easy to follow.
