The aspects of the book I like are the links to essential skill clusters, the historical perspective and the activities with the inclusion of brief outline answers\I cannot really identify any dislikes. Initially considered chapter 6 and if this chapter moved away from the collaboration and partnership aspects but it represents an insightful consideration into how we perceive others and how this may influence our interactions. Therefore very pertinent to developing collaborative skills. A very useful book which would support assignment development.
Students at the end of their course have to submit a number of pieces of work based on collaborative practice. This book is useful in giving them a starting point on the subject and provides useful information relevant to their course.

I like the title, the link to NMC standards and chapter 6. The thing I slightly dislike is the cover - they are all so similar - I appreciate that they are cooperate but I forget which ones I have picked up.

I have found this excellent book a useful resource for nursing students throughout the curriculum; from introducing the concept of multiagency working in the first year to teaching about the challenges of providing collaborative care.

I really have found this book an excellent resource, the decision making process develops through the book emphasising how to manage the more difficult decisions and the influence of experience. Excellent application of the ESC
Plenty of scenarios and case studies to help students put what they've read into context. Good concept summaries and research summaries to clarify students' understanding. The inclusion of useful websites at the end of each chapter is a great idea.
a good book which will aid the development and understanding of students throughout the course in reference to the importance of working together and team work within the health care setting: whether primary, intermediate or secondary within this degree pathway.
There have been a number of texts written around the subject of interprofessional collaborative and practice, none of which have link to the core areas of importance within the NMC standards and essential skills clusters.
This is an excellent book but requires a knowledge of the workings of the NHS in general. This is an excellent book for newly qulaifeid and for post qualifying studies.
