Having read this book I feel it should also be employed on the Operational Policing Module as it provides a useful comparative study that allows students to take a more positive and informed view of the policing of the UK when compared with other countries. It provides the opportunity to reinforce concepts of democratization of policing in a way that is fresh and informative. A valuable tool in the study of democratic policing as we know it, that permits the student to obtain a more balanced and informed view of the subject area.
