A one-stop-shop for students new to qualitative data analysis!
Analysing qualitative data is hard and it is necessary some guidance. This book is very helpful.
Qualitative Data Analysis is an excellent text which introduces not only qualitative methods, but the philosophical orientations of qualitative methodologies. It is an ideal text for Masters and PhD students who are beginning to think independently about methodological approaches and methods. In particular in Part 3 it offers a range of contemporary approaches to qualitative research which takes account of influences on changes in social life.
Very good read, with lots of key elements we are looking to involve within the course
A very complete and informative book. For our students it goes too much into detail, but for our researching colleagues and doctorate students it offers a good overview of backgrounds and methods of qualitative data analysis.
A good book for the higher level stduents
I use the book for my own preparation for classes, since it gives a quick refreshment of so many approaches.
Great book on qualitative data analysis.
well written book, will be appropriate to support the research of some of my learners
Found this book very useful for introducing the different approaches to qualitative analysis. Will also add it to reading list for this course for next year
This book will be recommended reading on the life science qualitative research methodology units. It covers well the diverse range of methods suitable for all four of the individual science subjects.
