"This book is an excellent and valuable resource for all nursing students, especially first year students. I will definitely recommend this book to all students, campus librarians and colleagues. Congratulations and thank you for an illuminating read and resource." Lecturer, University of Chester
Ii like its lay out and the fact it encourages students to get evidence of communication.
A good resource for those lacking in IT skills.
Concise and user friendly presentation. Activity based with facilitation of learning. Good clarity achieved. A practical, pragmatic text that students will find very useful.
Especially useful for first year students. I've recommended this book as part of a level 4 study skills module for nursing students. I've also used it with students who are working to evidence their Information and IT skills as part of their transferable graduate skills portfolio.
i have placed this book as a recommended read for the study skills module which sits in year 1 of the new nursing programme. very concise and informative book which incorporates the NMC domians. the topics address the main themes for successful start to their nursing degree programme when accessing information
The book is straight forward and easy to follow for someone starting the course. Lots of useful exercises and useful information. Could have included the pedagogical benefits of social media for learning.
This book is excellent for new students entering stage 1.
A fantastic text for nursing qualifications and fits perfectly to the curriculum of this particular course. I will also be using this to inform my teaching practice.
i will reference this during pre and post placement tutorials and during academic support tutorials for students.
