Good book for those selecting coaching as an optional unit within Dip. E & T
This book is too practical for a PhD course, but it might be a good book for those who supervise PhD students.
The book did not sufficuiently link to the personal development model being used within the module for which it was being considered

An excellent book which focuses upon the skills of coaching. Each skill is discussed in detail and would support fully someone in a coaching role regardless of their experience.

This book offers a superb clarity to both the practice of coaching and the underpinning theory that defines this emergent profession. It deconstructs the coaching cycle so fluently for both coach and client. However, for me the chapters on Reflecting,Becoming Critical and Integrating Experience were so powerful and persuasive in both their theorical focus and - thinking and planning and their impact on actual experience. The book has changed the insight into coaching. Comprehensive explanation of the process helps understand why coaching really works. The book is easy to read even if you have the basic knowledge in psychology.

This is a good text for the first year modules of our MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice programme. It is already adapted for this purposes and students appreciate how relevant it is for their study.
Useful for several units, in particular the management units on managing staff performance
THe book migh relevant to a section of the Unit. I recommend it as supplemental for students if they are interested in the topic further.
The text provides a strong, coaching-specific theoretical frame in which to locate individual contributory theories. This is both novel and foundational. It is a significant aid to theoretical thinking as well as a useful review of some important contributions to key topics.
Quality course has not been formally scheduled yet due to decreased number of college students thrughout the country due to economic reasons.
The book is very good as a reference easy to read short book for managers. It can be used as one of the primary textbooks for an undergraduate college course. It can't be the solo primary college textbook as traditionally expected by students.
We in Lebanon facing culture difficulties (more than the west) as students copy textbooks and are not purchasing new ones.

Very good book for undergraduate students that provides essential theory to practice. The depth in which the coaching process is covered allows for students to explore further information provided in lectures. Highly recommended book for both the academic and practitioner.
Well written and informative book
