The students use it a basement to go on with their work.
An excellent and engaging text, that crucially sets out the key issues in a manner that opens up the discourse to students with no formal research background. I think this would make an excellent supplementary text on the MA (Law with Business) programme for those students that engage in primary research and that adopt the case study method.
This is a great text for case study research. It offers a perfect blend of literature and explanation. It is a must for all students who are introduced to case study research for the first time. It offers a strong step by step approach to cases which I feel this text does more than any other book. the level of analysis is not as strong as other texts, but suitable for both post graduate and undergraduate students.
This is an excellent introduction for the novice and very refreshing for the experienced researcher. Easy to read and much food for thought!

A good text, but the students struggled with the concepts
Useful case study approach which many accounting students can use effectively to stimulate their research projects.
