Useful text for qualitative researchers
Flick provides an easy to read, yet complex narrative around how to conduct indigenist research. This is of particular benefit to Indigenous students, who are often exposed to only eurocentric ways of knowing and doing.
This edition is well structured and easy to follow. It provides clear direction of the theory and methods behind qualitative research and how it can be applied

Excellent text which I have found is applicable to students at all levels from undergraduate to PhD. Clearly written with excellent examples of research in practice. Research methodology is clearly explored making this an accessible text.
An extremely useful book for students that provides a comprehensive overview of qualitative research methodologies. It is particularly useful for students grappling with theory and provides a good basic introduction that is suitable for undergraduates in psychology. It would be great, however, to see a little more on the conceptual basis and frameworks of the various methodologies in future editions. This is largely absent in most undergraduate textbooks on qualitative research methods aimed at undergraduates.

Great overview of different research methods that will be really helpful for my students
Professor Uwe Flick has been a leading qualitative methodologist in the social sciences for decades. His methods texts reflect his considerable talent for presenting complex concepts and approaches in a thorough and accessible manner. This latest text is no exception.
